Reviews  By Jeremy S from Glendale, CA Posted Sep 21, 2010 I needed a rug cut down. When I took it in they told me it was 10 dollars per cut and 2.50 per foot for binding. I only needed one cut and the binding was only 4 1/2 feet. So it should have been been around $21.25. They told me they have another place that cuts it and binds it, and that if I drop it off it should be back in a few days. So a little under a week goes by and they give me a call, telling me to come pick up the carpet. When I go in, the guy charges me he tells me that it is going to cost $46.50! He told me that they had to use a surgical binding and the normal binding would not hold. I then ask why did no one call me to tell me that you had to use a more expensive binding before you bound the rug? He told me that he thought someone else already called me, but he was the only one that had helped me. He also did call me, and left a message, but it only was informing me that my rug was ready, not that they had done a more expensive binding with out my consent. He then mentioned to me that they normally charged $20 per cut but for me they only charged ten because someone told me ten. I told him that he told me ten, as he was the only one that I dealt with. I also called ahead and spoke to a women and she told me ten. He then proceeded to tell me that he in fact did not tell me that price and he thought someone else should have called me, even though he was the only sales person I dealt with the entire time. In conclusion don't go here if you want to agree on one price only to be charged for more work that you did not agree upon. They are very shady and I would not recommend this to anyone.
